Mid-sized Curly Ambrosia Maple Doubleback Teardrop Mountain Dulcimer

Beautiful Mid-Sized Teardrop with features not normally found in a mid-sized instrument.

After 20-years, and 790 new custom-built Dulcimers, I've decided to create a new line of instruments designed with frequently requested, but seldom combined features. The new line is named "My Mesa" after a customer who helped me with the design. My primary goal is to produce a line of unique dulcimers using a rare combination of tone-woods, accurately tuned, and easy and fun to play.

All my instruments contain these features, but only "My Mesa" has the unique combination outlined below:

My Mesa:.

• Mid-sized (24.5"VSL)
• Doubleback Teardrop
• Curly Ambrosia Maple top
• Cherry body, Rosewood fretboard
• Guitar-style tuning head
• Optional Electric, soundhold choices
• Protective soft case, w/handle, shoulder straps
• 20 years dulcimer building experience
• Personalized

AVAILABLE OPTIONS:

• Electric - Onboard Belcat 2000 active preamp and piezo under-bridge mic

• Add 1.5"half-fret, 8.5" not available
• Choice of available Sound-holes

Because of the options available, all dulcimers are custom orders and take 2-3 weeks completion time.
